I’ve hesitated, as this stirs up the nest amongst the church and fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. I’ve witnessed this first-hand as well as on networks such as TBN. I’m lying down, unwinding and along comes [ENTER PROSPERITY PREACHER HERE] with his message of health and wealth and how Jesus will bless me with all my desires…blah blah blah. The list goes on and on. From Benny Hinn to Jesse Duplantis to Joel Osteen and all in between, I give you the Prosperity “Gospel”.
“Do this” and you’ll be “blessed with that”. “Do this” and you “won’t have to worry about that”. You see this works for these false teachers until folks wise up and read the Word for themselves. It quickly becomes obvious that they are out to lunch in the mind and the pulpit and are “to be accursed!” (Galatians 1:6-10). Let’s put it into perspective, shall we?
